Asaka City Sumo Federation Training Dojo

Established in 1967, the Asaka City Sumo Federation's Asaka Sumo Training Dojo is a traditional sumo club officially recognized as a branch dojo of the Japan Sumo Association. We have produced two professional sekitori wrestlers to date, including Daieisho. In the summer, we provide valuable opportunities for our members to participate in training at professional sumo stables and compete on the hallowed clay of the Ryogoku Kokugikan. We are dedicated to daily training, upholding the traditions of sumo and cultivating both mind and body.
