Kita-zakura Sumo Club

At Kita-zakura Sumo Club, boys and girls from elementary to high school age train daily under the guidance of head coach Takayuki Ichihara, a former Makuuchi division wrestler (an alumnus of Saitama Sakae High School and Nihon University). Guided by our motto, 'Be cheerful! Have fun! And become strong!', we prioritize not only the improvement of sumo skills but, more importantly, personal growth through the development of etiquette, proper greetings, and responsiveness.
