Fukui Sumo Club

Operated by the Fukui Prefecture Sumo Federation, the Fukui Sumo Club provides daily training for elementary and junior high school students. Activities are held on professional-grade dohyo (sumo rings) at venues such as the Fukui Prefectural Budo-kan and Fukui Norin High School. Through sumo, we aim to cultivate respect, a challenging spirit, and robust physical health. Our club plays a major role in promoting sumo culture in Fukui and nurturing the next generation.
