Akita Hokurokukan Dojo

Akita Hokurokukan Dojo is a sumo club for elementary and junior high school students in the cities of Kazuno, Odate, and Kita-Akita. Our training philosophy is to cultivate 'Rei' (etiquette) by learning to greet others and cooperate with teammates through sumo. We also aim to develop 'Gi' (technique) and 'Tai' (physical strength) by practicing basic sumo movements, while incorporating elements from other sports and recreational activities to build overall physical fitness.
