This sumo dojo is centered around the young master, Yuya Obara, to revive local sumo, which had lost its vitality after the earthquake disaster. In an environment where they can practice fully in nature—including training in an outdoor dojo until the end of October—elementary and junior high school students aim to become stronger while inspiring each other regardless of age. While valuing the fundamentals of sumo, the teaching also focuses on emotional growth, such as having older students mentor the younger ones.
