This is the 'Shika Sumo Class' based in Shika Town, Ishikawa Prefecture. Our class unites the efforts of each elementary school in the town, practicing daily as representatives of Shika Town with the aim of placing high in prefectural and national tournaments. We have produced many nationally active athletes, including team championships at the 'National Junior High School Sumo Tournament' and individual prizes at the 'Wanpaku Sumo National Tournament.' Under experienced instructors, we focus on 'spirit, technique, and physique' training that values manners and gratitude, as well as technical improvement.
