Asaka City Sumo Federation Ren-sei Dojo

Established in 1967, the 'Asaka City Sumo Federation Asaka Sumo Ren-sei Dojo' is a traditional sumo club recognized as a branch dojo under the direct supervision of the Japan Sumo Association. We have produced two professional sumo wrestlers (sekitori) to date, including Daieisho. In the summer, we provide valuable opportunities for members to participate in joint training sessions at professional sumo stables and compete in matches at the Ryogoku Kokugikan. We strive to practice daily to protect the traditions of sumo and cultivate both mind and body.
